Member Notice: Ontario 2010 Budget Maintains Commitment To HST — Doesn't Raise Taxes

On March 25, Ontario Finance Minister, Dwight Duncan delivered the McGuinty government's seventh budget. The budget outlines the government's new five-year economic plan, which promised no new tax increases and plans to reduce the government deficit by one half in five years, and eliminate it in eight years. The government also maintained its commitments to tax initiatives announced in last year's budget - a good sign for businesses in Ontario.
