Member Notice: Retail Council Provides Submission on Proposed NS Cosmetic Pesticide Ban
RCC urges Nova Scotia to consider retailer buying cycles, harmonization

The Nova Scotia Department of Environment recently concluded public consultations on instituting a province-wide ban on pesticides for residential, public and commercial lawns. Comments were due to the government by March 7, 2010, and Retail Council of Canada provided a submission with recommendations to ensure that any future ban is implemented in a manner that is viable for implementation by retailers.
