New Brunswick Leads Maritime Move To Ban Lawn Care Pesticide Products

On Thursday, June 19, the-then New Brunswick Minister of Environment Roland Haché (since his announcement there's a been a Cabinet shuffle and the new Minister of Environment is Hon. Thomas J. Burke) announced that the province will be banning the sale and use of 200 over-the-counter lawn care pesticide products (combination fertilizer/pesticide products, granular spreadable weed killers, hose-end products, etc.) as of this fall 2009.
