Member Notice: RCC Pressures Provincial Governments to Hold the Line on Minimum Wage
With economy softening, now is not the time for wage increases

Retail Council of Canada (RCC) is asking Provincial Premiers across Canada to reconsider any planned increases in the minimum wage. In a recent letter, RCC's Provincial Directors reminded the Premiers that in a weakening economy, retailers can not afford any increases in their business costs, particularly labour costs.
