Member Notice: Retail Council of Canada Participates in Fraud Prevention Month on Your Behalf
Awareness Campaign Valuable to Canada's Retailers and Customers
On behalf of retailers across the country, Retail Council of Canada (RCC) is pleased to announce its participation as a strategic partner in the Competition Bureau's Fraud Prevention Month, March 1-31, 2007. The Federal Competition Bureau chairs the Fraud Prevention Forum, a committee comprising of private sector firms, consumer and volunteer groups, government agencies and law enforcement agencies that are committed to fighting fraud aimed at consumers and businesses. Throughout the month of March, various strategic partners, including RCC, will host a variety of events, educational forums and will launch a public awareness campaign in support of fraud prevention.
