Member Notice: Nova Scotia's New Electronic Waste Regulations
Revised regulations a victory for retailers!
On February 23, 2007, the Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour, in partnership with the electronics industry, announced the province's new Electronic Product Stewardship Regulations, which will come into effect on February 1, 2008. Nova Scotia will be the first province in Atlantic Canada to develop and implement an electronic waste recycling program.
