Member Notice: Ontario Minister of Environment Requests Tire Recycling Program
New Waste Diversion Plan due December 31, 2008
On August 14, 2008, Ontario's Minister of the Environment, Hon. John Gerretsen, requested that Waste Diversion Ontario (WDO) develop a new recycling program for used tires, as defined in O.Reg.84/03 made under the province's Waste Diversion Act. The plan is due December 31, 2008.
