On July 13, 2006, the Conservation Council of Ontario launched the second annual Doors Closed campaign. This initiative aims to put an end to the wasteful practice of air conditioning the street on hot summer days. While the campaign was developed in Ontario, the message is universal. Energy conservation is not confined to borders.
