Retailers take note: claims not settled by April 1st will be captured by the new Act

The B.C. government will implement a new Act on April 1, 2009, giving the Province the legal tools to recover health-care costs from third parties, including retailers, and their insurers. British Columbia is the last province to establish this type of health-care cost recovery legislation.
